Dangerous Buildings

The Dangerous Buildings Commission is called to action when the Building Official designates a building as dangerous based on the criteria listed in the city code of ordinances. The commission, led by the city attorney, hears the case and decides on the next course of action. The Dangerous Buildings Commission can have the building demolished or returned to safety. 

Hearings are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
