All businesses within the city limits must be licensed. Licenses are good for two years and expire on March 31 of the second year. Failure to renew before expiration results in an added 10% fee.

The business location will be inspected by the fire department before the business license will be issued. All personal property taxes must be paid before the license will be issued and all industry-specific state licences must be in place before the business license will be issued. 

To apply, bring the completed application with the fire department facility survey and your payment to city hall.
