Welcome to the Water Department
The Algonac Water Department filters, treats and delivers an average of 1.5 million gallons of water daily to customers in our water system which covers residents and businesses in Algonac, Clay Township and parts of Cottrellville Township. We are dedicated to the health, safety, and welfare of the community. Our goal is to meet and exceed all federal, state and local requirements in providing the highest quality of drinking water and fire protection flows.
CROSS CONNECTION CONTROL PROGRAM: The city of Algonac will begin this program as mandated by the State of Michigan to protect the safety of residential drinking water with the help of HydroCorp.
